I don't know what the standard recipe i...Hmm... I don't know what the standard recipe is. Or even if there is one. Latkes are one of those traditional Polish foods and, as such, have about a zillion variations. I think the usual recipe involves normal baking potatoes, all purpose flour, probably butter. And I think they're traditionally fried, not baked. I made these with the intent to make something like the latkes I've tried before by using ingredients and a method so that I wouldn't feel guilty about eating them.
